The protests that target the attempts of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to “weaken the judiciary” and his far-right policies, which started four weeks ago in the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, are being continued by thousands of people.
Demonstrators marched with Israeli flags and placards that read, “The world will not be saved by those who do evil. It will be destroyed by those who waste themselves on the corners and do nothing.”
Protesters held a minute of silence to commemorate the seven people who lost their lives in an armed attack at a synagogue in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in East Jerusalem yesterday.
