A man living in Türkiye’s Bolu, fed up with litter around the fountains he built, built a garbage stand to discourage environmental insensitivity. Mustafa Pekyavuz, who constructed 40 fountains, hung garbage with a sign stating, “You can find the garbage you throw here next time.” Pekyavuz hopes this unique approach will raise awareness about the environmental impact of littering. Despite the 200 thousand lira cost per fountain, he remains committed to combatting thoughtless waste disposal, earning praise for his inventive initiative.
