In Vantaa, Finland, tragedy struck at Viertola School as one of the three students injured in an armed attack this morning tragically passed away. Finnish police revealed that the detained attacker, responsible for the incident at the school housing around 800 students and 90 staff members, is just 12 years old. Authorities confiscated the suspected gun used in the attack, which was later revealed to belong to a relative of the young attacker. The police confirmed that all injured students were also 12 years old. The assailant confessed during police questioning, leading to expectations of the attacker being placed under social services supervision due to their young age.
