Last night, an attacker took the gun of the security forces near the Ghriba Synagogue on the island of Djerba in southern Tunisia and fired randomly. The attack targeted the security forces and killed four people, including two security guards and two tourists who were near the synagogue, and injured nine. The cause of the attack is not yet known.
Ghriba Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Africa, opened its doors for Jewish communities on May 4th.
