At Least 285 people have died in South Asia in the past month due to the monsoon rains and the disasters caused by Typhoon Yagi, according to official data. 233 of the deaths were recorded in Vietnam, 33 in Thailand, and 19 in Myanmar. It was also reported that over 100 people are still missing in the affected countries.
Meteorological experts state that heavy rains will affect the region until the end of the month and advise citizens to take the necessary precautions or evacuate.
