A passenger bus carrying 58 people, many of them tourists, plunged into the frozen Asvatnet Lake in the Hadsel region in north-western Norway yesterday at around 13:30 local time, partially submerging in the water. Officials reported that at least 3 people lost their lives and 4 people were heavily injured. The injured casualties were taken to the hospital, and others were taken to a school nearby.
