After Morocco’s 1-0 defeat against Portugal in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the night of Moroccan fans celebrating the victory in Paris ended with the intervention
of the French police, more than 40 people were detained.
Police used tear gas and sound bombs in the clash that broke out between hundreds of Moroccan fans and the police, who came together on the Champs Elysees Street.
Being the first African team to reach the semi-finals in the World Cup history, the Moroccan National Team will face the French National Team on Wednesday.
