The ski season started at the Atabarı Ski Center on Mersivan Mountain at an altitude of 2,200 meters in Artvin as the snow thickness reached 65 centimeters after heavy snowfall. The ski center, which has been in service since 2009, has 2 tracks, a 595-meter-long chairlift and a 159-meter-long teleski. It has been made ready for ski lovers again.
“The weather is very nice, the track is beautiful and the atmosphere is great here. I think it is definitely a place that should be taken into consideration for winters. I definitely recommend ski lovers to come here,” said Melisa Çepni, a visitor Rize.
