On the second day of TEKNOFEST TRNC, the ATAK T-129 Attack Helicopter and Bayraktar TB2 armed drone performed a joint demonstration flight, drawing significant attention from spectators. The skies over the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus also hosted a flight by HÜRKUŞ, the domestically developed military training aircraft by Turkish Aerospace Industries, impressing the audience with its agility and performance.
Iran executed Yasin Huseynzade, who killed one and injured two at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran in 2023. The Iranian judiciary confirmed the execution took place early in the morning.
The attack, which Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called a “terrorist act,” triggered a diplomatic crisis. Baku withdrew embassy staff, and both countries expelled diplomats.
