An armed attack on the Nashville Light Mission Pentecostal Church in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, was blocked by church members. According to Nashville police, while citizens were praying at the Nashville Light Mission Pentecostal Church on West Trinity Road, 26-year-old Dezire Baganda approached the altar with a gun and asked the worshipers to stand up. A man jumped on the attacker and neutralized Baganda until the police arrived.
Baganda, who was detained following the incident, allegedly stated that all churches and schools should be “shot.” He is also expected to appear in court on November 10 to face 15 counts of serious assault.
