A 4-year-old girl who went missing in a campsite north of Carnarvon in the Australian state of Western Australia 18 days ago has been found. The WA police department’s Col Blanch announced that officers raided a house in Carnarvon and found Cleo in one of the rooms. Blanch stated, “This was the result we all hoped for and prayed for,” referring to the fact that the little girl is alive and well and has been reunited with her family. “I can confirm that one person is currently detained and being questioned. In the coming hours, we’ll have more to say about Cleo’s rescue” Blanch stated.
The finding of Cleo alive was met with joy throughout the country.
