The spokesperson of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip announced that 55 people were killed and dozens were injured in the attack in which the Israeli army directly targeted civilians in and around the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.
“Israeli forces regularly carry out massacres in the Gaza Strip and destroy the healthcare system. This is the only hospital that can provide healthcare to the 1 million displaced people, and these people are suffering from a lack of medical personnel and supplies. The hospital is full of patients, and there is no room for more people,” said the spokesman.
On the other hand, Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported that Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps and the town of Al Zawaida were also hit, and 80 people, mostly children and women, lost their lives.
