In Türkiye’s Kastamonu province, the wooden Sarıçam houses of Şenköy village blend with the region’s autumn forests, creating striking scenery. Built from local Scots pine, the homes sit near Loç Valley, Gömeren and Malyas canyons, Efkan Waterfall, and Kılıçlı Cave, attracting many nature lovers.
Kastamonu University’s Hikmet Haberal said the village offers “magnificent beauty” and is a key destination within Küre Mountains National Park
