The ‘Axiom-3’ space mission, performed by four astronauts from Italy, Sweden, Spain, and Türkiye, has ended after two weeks. A farewell ceremony was held today for the team that connected to the International Space Station (ISS) on January 20.

“I am very honored and happy to have carried out Türkiye’s first manned space mission on the centenary of the Republic of Türkiye. I hope that this task we have undertaken will be an inspiring beginning for our dear young people. ” said Alper Gezeravcı, the first Turkish astronaut.
