Azerbaijanis visited the martyrs’ cemetery in Fahri 2 Hiyaban on the occasion of “Martyrs’ Memorial Day” on the 3rd anniversary of the 2nd Karabakh War. After a commemoration ceremony, Azerbaijani citizens and relatives of the martyrs laid flowers at the graves of 2,908 martyrs and prayed for them. A minute of silence, during which ships, metro trains, and vehicles on the Caspian Sea coast honked their horns, was held at 12:00 local time.

“We, the families of martyrs, are very proud today, but our grief is profound as well,” said Galemşah Ehedov, father of martyr İlkin Ehedzade.
