Following an order from President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is withdrawing all diplomatic staff from its embassy in Tehran and consulate in Tabriz. Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced the decision in Baku, Azerbaijan, citing safety concerns after four Iranian drones targeted the Nakhchivan exclave. The strikes injured four civilians and hit a regional airport and school, leading Azerbaijan to suspend truck traffic and place its military on high alert.
