Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced at the Extraordinary Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Saudi Arabia that his country has committed to building a school with capacity for 600 students in the city of Nablus, Palestine, which is occupied by Israel, and that Azerbaijan has also taken initiatives to support the Palestinian people in the fields of education and health.
Bayramov also stated that the principles of international law, such as sovereignty, territorial integrity and the inadmissibility of the use of force, should be prioritized and that the conflict between the two parts should be resolved on the basis of the “two states” principle in accordance with international law and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations (UN) Security Council.
