Commemoration ceremonies were held in the capital Baku and throughout Azerbaijan to mark the 21st anniversary of the death of former President and national leader Heydar Aliyev. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, ministers, bureaucrats and citizens visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave in the Honorary Alley, laid flowers and prayed.
