The stork named Yaren, which stays every year on the shores of Uluabat Lake in Bursa, has a baby born in June. The baby stork was named 5 numara (number 5), and was given a satellite transmitter to track it. Number 5 migrated earlier by joining a flock of storks before her mother. It first reached Jordan, then crossed 10 African countries, and eventually reached Chad. Number 5 is expected to survive and make short flights in that region for 4 years and return to the shore of Lake Uluabat, where it was born.
