Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett paid an official visit to Bahrain, marking the first time an Israeli prime minister has visited Bahrain. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett arrived in Bahrain as part of a two-day official visit at the invitation of Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamed Al Khalifa. Bennett is expected to meet with Al Khalifa, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, the ministers of finance, foreign affairs, industry and transport, as well as members of the small local Jewish community.
The “Abraham Agreements” for the complete normalization of relations between Israel and Bahrain were signed on September 15, 2020 at the White House in Washington DC, the capital of the USA.
