Hot air balloon trips in Cappadocia, one of Türkiye’s most famous tourism attractions, were halted for 13 days due to windy and foggy weather. Following evaluations by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the hot air balloons took off again thanks to favorable weather conditions.
Furthermore, in the region where approximately 250 trips are made per year, hot air balloons allow travelers to view locations rich in history, culture, and beauty from the sky. The mysterious fairy chimneys, valleys, and fascinating ground formations of Cappadocia offer unique beauty from both land and air.
