A beggar in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, turned out to be a millionaire after dying in a hospital. The beggar’s two siblings found millions of Iraqi dinars and gold in bags in their sister’s house, where they went to get her ID card after her death. The money was detected by authorities when the two siblings were caught by the neighborhood headman while loading it into a car. The police, who arrived at the scene upon the headman’s notice, found $380,000 worth of Iraqi dinars and gold in the house and detained the siblings.
The woman’s neighbors stated that they always helped the lonely woman and even gave food to her. It was claimed that the dead woman’s son was a police officer.
