The EU-mediated Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue meeting, attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, ended without a resolution. Held in Brussels, Belgium, with the participation of EU officials, this meeting marked their first encounter since June 22, following increased tensions in northern Kosovo.
Despite Serbia accepting the EU’s compromise proposal, which involved verifying the Union of Serbian Municipalities process before specifying obligations, the meeting concluded without an agreement due to Kurti’s rejection of the offer. Vucic expressed disappointment that Pristina did not accept the compromise proposal for normalization.
