The 26th Berlin Carnival of Cultures, where the cultures of many countries were exhibited, has ended in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, the capital of Germany. At the carnival, which started last Friday, dozens of vehicles and thousands of people paraded, musical groups from different cultures gave concerts, and different cuisines were introduced at hundreds of stands.
The annual event, which started in 1996 as a symbol against racist attacks, was about to be terminated in 2023 due to a deficiency of budget, but the allocation of additional resources at the last minute guaranteed the festival’s organization in that year and two upcoming years as well.
