US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House during Netanyahu’s visit to the United States. Before their closed-door meeting, the leaders addressed the press briefly. Biden remarked, “We have a lot to talk about. I think we should start this. It’s up to you.”
Netanyahu highlighted their long-standing relationship, saying, “From a proud Jewish Zionist to a proud Irish-American Zionist, I would like to thank you for your 50 years of public service and support to the state of Israel. I look forward to meeting with you today and working with you on the big issues before us.”
