After six days of intense search and rescue efforts, the bodies of three workers trapped in a tunnel collapse during the construction of the Thailand-China high-speed railway project were found. The collapse occurred on August 24, approximately 3 kilometers inside the tunnel in Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The Railways of Thailand confirmed the recovery of the body of a Myanmar truck driver yesterday, followed by the bodies of a Chinese expert and a Chinese excavator operator early this morning. The tragic incident, triggered by a landslide, had sparked an extensive rescue operation.
