A bomb-laden vehicle was detonated in the Afrin district center of Syria. Five civilians were killed in the terrorist attack; 10 others were injured. Local sources reported that more casualties are feared. Civil defense teams extinguished the fire that occurred following the attack. Injured were taken to hospitals.
At least 18 people were injured when two passenger trains collided on a suburban line between Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, and the nearby town of Pezinok. The injured were taken to four hospitals under Bratislava University Hospital.
Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and Slovak Railways has launched an inquiry. The incident follows another train accident in eastern Slovakia last month that injured 20 people.
