Boxers knocked out simultaneously during a boxing championship in Turkey

Men’s Junior Turkey Boxing Championship was held in Atatürk Sports Hall in Aydın city of Turkey, hosted by Aydın Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. 220 athletes from Turkey’s 38 cities were participated the Championship. While the championship continuing with the final competitions, a quite rare event occurred in the ring. On the ring, both boxers suddenly found themselves on the ground after they punched each other at the same time. In this one of the rare events in boxing history, both boxers knocked out at the same time. After seeing the rare event, referee of the match was also got confused on what to do. The referee was waited one of the sides to get up but both sides remained on the ground for a while. While the athletes were struggling to stand up, the boxer in the blue corner couldn’t continue the match. After the referee finished the match, the boxer in the red corner won the match.
