Dilip Marcus Sundhod, a 47-year-old British free fall athlete who came to the Fethiye district in Türkiye to participate in the ongoing 23rd International Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival, fell on the steep cliffs while jumping from the performing free fall with his friends in the Butterfly Valley. After a challenging operation to reach where Sundhod fell, rescue personnel determined that he had lost his life and took him to the morgue of Fethiye State Hospital.
It was learned that the pilot’s jump had nothing to do with the festival events.
