Louise Martine Albert, a British resident of Muğla, Türkiye, sought treatment at a private hospital in Antalya due to groin pain. Doctors discovered a 6 kg mass, approximately 35 cm in size, in her abdomen. Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist Prof. Dr. Onur Erol successfully performed the surgery. After a 10-day treatment, Albert was discharged and expressed relief, noting that the process in England would have been longer and more uncertain. The surgery restored both her health and self-confidence.
Türkiye has introduced its most destructive conventional aircraft bomb, the MK84 GAZAP, at the IDEF 2025 defense fair. Developed by the Ministry of National Defense, GAZAP weighs 2,000 pounds and can be deployed from F-16 and F-4 jets.
With a particle dispersion radius of 1 kilometer and a density of 10.16 particles per square meter, GAZAP delivers a high-pressure blast three times more powerful than standard bombs. Field testing is underway following lab evaluations. The weapon’s wide-area impact has drawn attention from the international defense community.
