British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the capital Kiev.

After the meeting, Zelensky said on his social media account, “In our meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, we discussed our opportunities to protect Ukraine and European energy security. We also talked about the protection of Ukrainian airspace and our defense cooperation. At the meeting, the diplomatic situation and joint international efforts for peace were discussed in detail. Thank you for the principled support for Ukraine and for maximum constructiveness in the negotiations.”

British Prime Minister Sunak, on the other hand, shared on his social media account, “Britain knows what it means to fight for freedom. We are with you all the way”
