British Traveler Crosses Reaches Europe via Istanbul Bridge

British adventurer Karl Bushby, who set off from Chile 26 years ago to walk around the world, reached Istanbul and crossed the July 15 Martyrs Bridge on foot, stepping from Asia into Europe. Bushby, 56, began his 50,000-kilometer journey in 1998 and has walked across the Americas, including the treacherous Darien Gap, before reaching Russia via the Bering Strait. His crossing of the iconic Istanbul bridge was captured by drone, marking another milestone in his mission to travel the globe solely on foot.
