A passenger bus flew into a valley from an altitude of 500 meters in the Chamoli region of the Indian state of Uttarakhand, killing 12 and seriously injuring 3.
It was reported that the vehicle rolled over because it was carrying more passengers than its capacity.
Prime Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conveyed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the accident and stated that financial assistance will be provided to the families of those who lost their lives.
