A tragic collision between a passenger train and a bus in Slovakia’s Nove Zamky region has left five dead and five injured. The train was traveling from Prague, Czech Republic, to Budapest, Hungary. Emergency services dispatched numerous firefighters, rescue, and medical teams to the scene. An official statement expressed condolences to the victims’ families.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported that 92% of homes in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed since Israel launched its military operations on October 7, 2023.
UNRWA described the situation as “unimaginable destruction,” stating that many Palestinians have been repeatedly displaced, with a severe shortage of shelters.
Israel, which has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza since March 2, has now launched a new large-scale ground offensive in the north and south of the enclave.
