In the basement of this three-storey building located in Fatih, Istanbul, there are floor mosaics from the Byzantine Period and one of the 5 Byzantine Holy Springs known in Istanbul. On the wall of the holy spring, there is a half-destroyed silhouette of virgin Mary’s face. The mosaics are the early Byzantine floor mosaics made in the form of Opus Tessellatum. The vaulted structure remaining from the Ottoman Empire is also a part of this cultural site.
