A car fell off a cliff after a man forgot to set the parking brake on the side of a hill in Tosya district of Kastamonu, Türkiye. The man allegedly wanted to take a selfie with his family during a trip to the nature. The family reported the incident to the gendarmerie. The car was pulled from the cliff later with a crane after teams arrived on the scene. Luckily nobody was hurt as the car was empty.

Following a heat wave in Istanbul, recent rainfall has failed to replenish the city’s dams, with the overall occupancy rate now at 49.96%. The Alibey Dam, currently at 33.32%, showed severe drought conditions, with aerial footage revealing the emerging Güzelce Aqueduct as the water level receded. While Elmalı Dam remains the fullest at 67.42%, Istrancalar Dam is critically low at 27.44%.
