Two young men living in Antalya, Muhammet Doğan and Mehmet Uçan, covered their cars with ‘invalid’ US dollar and Euro banknotes to draw attention to the fact that these currencies are worthless to them after the sharp rise and fall in the Euro and the US dollar against Turkish lira. They exhibited the cars on traffic-free place. People showed great interest and didn’t miss a singke chance to capture photo of the cars.
Brad Pitt’s house in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, was reportedly burglarized while the actor was in England for his new film premiere. US media said three suspects broke in through a window, ransacked the home, and fled with stolen items. Police have not disclosed what was taken. Pitt was not home during the incident.
