A powerful magnitude 7 earthquake struck near Kyrgyzstan’s Kyzyl-Su district, also affecting Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. CCTV in Almaty, Kazakhstan, recorded the intense shaking, resembling a cradle motion, lasting over a minute.
The earthquake resulted in 44 injuries, as reported by the Kazakhstan Ministry of Health. Fortunately, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations stated no loss of life or damage occurred in the earthquake.
