Cheetahs, allegedly became extinct in India in 1952, returned to Pakistan as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi released them on his 72nd birthday. The cheetahs were brought from Namibya to Gwalior on a plane with a veterinarian and 3 biologists accompanying. After that, the cheetahs, consisting of 5 females and 3 males, were transferred to Kuno National Park to be released by Narendra Modi. The cheetahs will be released to their habitats and be tracked after being put in quarantine in the national park.
Narendra Modi shared the photos of the cheetahs on his twitter and said, “A long wait is over, the Cheetahs have a home in India at the Kuno National Park.”
