China holds medal cerenomy for communist party members in beijing

China celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with ceremonies and demonstrations. Chinese President Xi Jinping presented loyal members of the party with the July 1 medal at the celebrations held at the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square in the capital Beijing. He gave a 100th anniversary speech to members and called for allegiance to Marxism adding that all party comrades should consider their belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics as the purpose of their lives.
