The Chinese unmanned cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-4, sent into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan province of China, reached the core module of the space station Tianhe established by China in Earth orbit. While Tianzhou-4 successfully docked with Tianhe, the docking process took about 6.5 hours as a result of using fast technology. The 10.6 meter-long cargo spacecraft delivered the equipment and supplies required for the 6 month long mission of the 3 taikonauts to be sent to the station with Shenzhou-14 in June, to the now empty Tianhe.
On the other hand, 5 more space flights will be carried out this year to complete the construction of China’s space station.
