A man in his 20s has built a self-driving bicycle in Guangdong, China. The bicycle’s designer, Peng Zhihui, is an architect of Chinese company Huawei. He refitted a fixed gear bike with a self-driving system in just four months. The bike can move forward, avoid obstacles, and turn corners on its own. Peng named the bicycle Xuan-bike, which, in his words, means extremely unnatural auto-navigation. Peng said the cost of one bicycle is less than 10,000 yuan (around $1,540).

The 2025 Caner Gönyeli Search and Rescue Exercise ended with a sea drill off Gazimağusa, Northern Cyprus. In a scenario involving a migrant-carrying yacht and a cargo ship collision, Turkish and TRNC teams launched immediate rescue operations. Survivors were saved by helicopter and boats; a fire set by migrants was extinguished. The final scenario simulated a tanker collision, ending with a salute by participating air and sea units.
