Research and development on autonomous aircraft continue. A Chinese-made autonomous aircraft, the EHang 216, has successfully completed its test flight in Oita, Japan, recently. The EHang 216 was developed by EHang, a leading drone manufacturer in China, and has a two-person capacity. It is planned to be used for low-altitude, medical assistance, and short-distance logistics.

Despite his condition, Demirhan said his illness does not prevent him from completing the pilgrimage.
Using a wheelchair, Demirhan traveled to the holy lands with his family and support from Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs. “We registered in 2009 and waited nearly 16 years,” he said.
He encouraged others with disabilities not to hesitate: “If there are pilgrims worried due to a disability, they shouldn’t worry. Allah eases the way. The state and Religious Affairs are improving support every year.”
