Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Avichay Adraee said in a statement that Lebanese people, many of whom still return to their homes in the south thanks to the ceasefire agreement coming into effect yesterday, are prohibited from going to the 10 villages on the border with Israel and the surrounding areas until further notice. Adraee stated that the IDF does not want to target civilians but anyone who crosses south of the line will be putting themselves in danger.
According to authorities, approximately 900,000 people have been displaced internally due to the conflict.
