A funeral ceremony was held in Tabriz, Iran for Aylar Haghi, who died in the ongoing anti-regime demonstrations across the country for Mahsa Amini. The attendees of the funeral chanted anti-regime slogans. Iranian security forces responded with tear gas to the crowd who wanted to continue their demonstration by marching after the funeral.
Aylar Haghi, a 23-year-old medical student who participated in the Mahsa Amini demonstrations in Tabriz, Iran, was found dead at a construction site. East Azerbaijan State Police Chief İbrahim Mahmudi stated that 3 people were detained in connection with the incident and stated that Haghi was not targeted by the security forces.
