Supporters of Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, who was issued an arrest warrant for not attending the two trials of the cases opened on charges of selling state gifts and concealing his assets, have been clashing with the police who came to his house in Lahore to arrest him since yesterday. Sixty-four police officers were reported to be injured.
“My house has been under heavy attack since yesterday. The latest police attack brings the country’s biggest political party against the army. This is what the enemies of Pakistan want. No lessons have been learned from the East Pakistan tragedy,” Khan said on his social media account.
