Businessman Gökhan Değirmenci, 31, a lifelong classic car enthusiast from Manisa, Türkiye, has restored several vintage vehicles to their original glory, housing them in his workplace’s garage. Despite receiving offers double their value, he has no intention of selling these prized possessions.
Değirmenci’s collection includes 1963 and 1964 Chevrolet models, three classic Tofaş cars, and an old box minibus. He acquired them nearly as scrap and meticulously restored them, sourcing most parts from abroad. Although their value is estimated at 15-20 million TL, Değirmenci cannot bring himself to drive them on the roads, preferring to keep them safe and on display. His passion for classic cars, ignited in childhood, continues to drive his dedication to preserving these automotive treasures.
