The coffin of 19-year-old Akın Genç, who was shot dead by an unidentified attacker while he was heading home after a school day in the Paris suburb Aulnay Sous Bois on December 15, will be sent to Turkey. A large congregation bid farewell to the young boy in Garges Sarcelles Selimiye Mosque in the capital before he gets sent to his hometown Trabzon in Türkiye tomorrow.
The teenager’s death is being investigated by the French police.
