With the spring season, Çimen Mountain and the Cami Yurdu plateau, covered with yellow flowers on its foothills, in Türkiye’s Gümüşhane, where 60 percent of its geography consists of mountains, have become a paradise for nature lovers.
“I recommend everyone who comes to Gümüşhane join this group. We came to the plateau, then walked around as a group, had fun, and ate together. That was great,” said Dr. Amin Fatu, a nature lover who came to the area with Gümüşhane Mountaineering, Nature Sports and Youth Association.
“We recommend all nature lovers come here, especially in this season when the flowers bloom. The flowers bloom in the first week of June, and it is possible to see them until approximately the end of June,” said Fatih Arslan, group guide.
“It is truly a beautiful plateau with magnificent yellow flowers. It’s a track I would recommend to everyone. We had a very comfortable and beautiful walk. We got caught in the rain, but its just nature’s little surprise. It was a nice walk,” said GÜDAK President Mustafa Akbulut.
