An attack was carried out with a crowbar on the Turkish House in the US city of New York, where the Turkish Consulate General in New York is located. The Turkish House is the building where Turkish citizens living in the USA have been voting for the second round of the Presidential election since Saturday. The attackers have not been identified yet. New York police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Andriy Portnov, former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead in Madrid’s upscale Pozuelo de Alarcon district. Spanish authorities say unidentified gunmen opened fire as the 52-year-old was dropping off his children at school, striking him in the back and head before fleeing.
Portnov, a former MP and lawyer, fled Ukraine with Yanukovych in 2014, briefly returned in 2019, and was later sanctioned by the U.S. for alleged judicial corruption.
